Foothealth First Podiatry has been providing Quality Podiatry Care from Kids to the Elderly since 2003. We have grown to three locations across Melbourne since then. All our locations are located within large multi-disciplinary practices which opens after hours and on weekends. Our podiatrists are highly skilled in their field and are passionate about the services we provide to our clients. We continue to strive for our best and value feedback about our services from our customers.

We each undertake 20 hours a year of AHPRA recognised professional development seminars to stay in the loop in our profession. In addition, all podiatrists are fully qualified, registered and insured.

We accept all Private patients without a referral, and Patients with a GP referrals such as Enhance Primary Care are Bulk Billed. Ultrasound treatments available for Plantar fasciitis and soft tissue inflammation. Doppler ultrasound used for Diabetic foot assessment.

All aspects of Podiatric Care. Including Diabetes, Sports Podiatry, Flat feet, Heel spurs, Corns and Callus, Nail Surgery, Mobilisation and manipulation, Orthotic Therapy using 3D scanning. Accept all referrals from Medicare EPC, Veterans Affairs, Work Cover, TAC. HICAPS/EFTPOS Available.

Nina Sventek

Nina graduated from La Trobe University in 2003. She is also the founder of Foothealth First Podiatry. She has worked across both Community health care and private sector over the last 12 years. Nina has completed extra studies in Mobilisation and manipulation, Dermatology, Health Coaching, Motivational Interviewing, Flinders University Chronic Illness Coach. She has also completed Certificate 3 in Fitness. She is experienced in working with clients with Chronic Illness and has a passion in helping those clients achieve short and long term health goals in particular Diabetes and Neurovascular assessments and education. Over the years she has developed keen interest in all aspects of podiatry in particular Nail surgery and Biomechanics. She has extensive experience in clinical podiatry and sees a wide range of patients from Paediatrics to Elderly. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, Pilates and spending time with her little girl and family.

Meiruja Sivaneeswaran

Meiruja Sivaneeswaran is a 2015 graduate of La Trobe University, where she completed her Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Podiatric Practice. She brings forward, the most up-to-date knowledge on today’s finest clinical modalities in order to fulfil her passion, of providing the greatest possible treatment outcomes for her patients. Meiruja holds a strong interest in interacting with her patients regarding health education particularly in relation to the diabetic foot, falls prevention, wound and pain management. She is bilingual in her native Tamil tongue and trained in traditional Carnatic music. In her own time, she loves to volunteer her time for those in need and has participated for a number of special events for associations such as the Oxfam Trailwalker Australia, Australian Teenage Expo, Vision Australia, Vincent de Paul Society, Darebin City Council and the Arts Centre Melbourne.
